Da Feet - CompetitiveWe train from October – May and compete provincially several times a year as well as nationally when they qualify, with very little travel required. The team will attend two practices a week, 2 workshops throughout the year, personal training sessions and school demonstrations.
Individual MASTER events include freestyle routines, power, speed and endurance. The TEAM events consist of team power, speed, endurance and partner/group routines. Our goal is for these athletes to master technical skills through practice. They will demonstrate skills for schools within Okotoks, compete within our own club and provincially as well as take advantage of leadership opportunities by instructing the recreational students with confidence while maintaining a positive team environment for all. It is recommended that competitive skippers have participated in at least one year of recreational skipping before joining. It is mandatory that athletes are motivated during class, dedicated, committed and attend all necessary events, competitions and workshops. Competing in TEAM competitions are not mandatory, but MASTER competitions are. For more information, please contact us! |
